Sequel specializes in assisting low-income elderly individuals with Dementia in navigating our healthcare or housing systems. The transition from home to facility or facility to home can be complex and stressful. We assist in that transition and provide compassionate service to the betterment of all our clients. Sequel Advocates are the eyes, ears, and often times the hands that act on behalf of our clients to provide ease of mind for them and their family members. 

Guardianship

As a guardian, Sequel assists with medical and care coordination, ensuring individuals receive proper healthcare, attend doctor appointments, and have access to necessary medications and living arrangements. We also handle financial management and asset protection, overseeing bills, budgeting, and asset reduction to maintain Medicaid eligibility while ensuring all financial obligations are met. Additionally, we coordinate insurance and benefits, including Medicaid, Medicare, and Social Security, to maximize available resources. Sequel takes full responsibility for court reporting and legal compliance, managing all necessary documentation and maintaining accountability as required by law. Our guardianship services also include end-of-life decision-making, providing compassionate support to ensure individuals' needs and wishes are respected in their final stages of life.
