Elder Angel Tree
First, we would like to thank you for your support in providing our local seniors with Christmas gifts through our Elder Angel Tree. We have once again partnered with our friends at Meals on Wheels so we may gift seniors in our area who receive this service. The people who receive Meals on Wheels delivery are largely homebound seniors; most of whom are low income. The daily meal delivery also doubles as a wellness check, and for many of them, this is the only regular visitor they receive. Last year, these seniors were thrilled to receive a gift and for some of them, this was the only gift they received. Because of your generosity, we were able to provide over 1400 gifts to seniors in our area last Christmas. This year, we are hoping to top that number and our goal for 2024 is 1,800 gifts and we know you will help us get there!
This year, we have developed a menu of items to choose from. Your unwrapped gifts can be dropped off or mailed to Sequel or Black Hills Advocate, 318 Mt. Rushmore Rd. Suite C, Rapid City SD 57701 through December 6th during our normal business hours, Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM. An Amazon link is provided below to purchase pre chosen items. If you don’t have time to shop, we will do the shopping for you! You can drop off your cash donation to us or we also accept Venmo at @Sequelinc. Questions? Don’t hesitate to reach out Maggie at 605-721-4383. Donations will be accepted through 12/6/2024.
